About Bobby
Racing has been in my family for over 50 years. My uncle Van Cook and his friend built the first racetrack in Price, Utah, around the '80s. It was put in by the fairgrounds, and a few years later, they moved it up on Airport Road. Over the years, my father, Bob Cook, and uncle, Van Cook, built many cars and had many drivers run them. In 2004, my father built his own car and raced it until 2010. Then he retired. After his oldest brother, Larry Cook, passed away in 2021, I talked my father and uncle into letting me have a go at racing, and we pulled the car out of retirement. Little did we know how much of a battle this would be. We had an old, outdated chassis which required major updates. With the help of GRT and my uncle Van, we were able to update the chassis and go racing. I started out in a late model, never having been in a race car before, but grew up around them my whole life. With that being said, here we are today, with a lot of trials and tribulations. We are still on the track, making a show for all the fans.
