3rd generation racer....grandfather raced in the early 50s at oakland speedway, san francisco speedway, san jose speedway, petaluma speedway.....father Dave Duste' sr raced from 1971 to 2008...wife Belinda raced from 2003-2011 and won a feature event in 2010 beating all the men in her class..graduated crater high school in 1988, served in the US Navy from 1988-1994 on guided missile destroyers....started racing dirt go-carts at the old expo track in 1984. moved to stockcars part time in 1986....won 1st feature main event in 1988 at the old medford raceway, finished 2nd in points in 1988 with the most improved driver award.
